GBC Youth Summer 2024

JOT (Journaling On Thursdays)

During summer break, the youth (rising seventh graders through graduated seniors) will be meeting on Thursday nights for our weekly summer youth program which will include a meal, a conversation centered around some journal prompts, and an activity. We hope to create some space for some honest reflection during our times together and also have a lot of fun! Most weeks we will meet at the church at 5:30pm and take the church vans to our evening’s location. Our summer kickoff will be Thursday, June 6, at about 8:40 (right after Vacation Bible School is over) with a free shaved ice at ParadICE Hawaiian Ice (next to Frank’s Donuts). And because of VBS and camp in the month of June, our first regular meeting for the month will be Thursday, June 20 which will include a trip to the Scott County Fair. Many more details to come!!
