What is Kick’s Club?
Kick's Club is currently on hiatus for 2017. We hope to resume again in the near future.
Kick’s Club is an early morning drop-off club for Garth elementary school children that meets in Georgetown Baptist Church (207 S. Hamilton St. – the entrance door is on E. Clinton St.). There is no charge for this club. We will provide a safe environment for the children, a nutritious breakfast, and focus on sharing the love of Christ. Our primary goal is to reinforce the kinds of values (community, neighborliness, honesty, friendship, wisdom, etc.) that will help make Garth a successful learning environment. We will often have guest speakers from the community (firemen, teachers, police officers, pastors, etc.). All our regular volunteers will have criminal background checks. Students must have parent approval and be registered to participate.
Blank registration forms can be picked up at the church or click here to download the form . We will walk the children safely to Garth before school begins, so please make plans for inclement weather. For example, if it is raining, students should bring umbrellas or wear rain gear. If school is not in session on Thursday morning, due either to inclement weather or holiday, then Kicks Club will NOT meet.
